740 Aftermarket Manuals?[ALL/1998] posted by Glen on

Does anyone have experience with more than one aftermarket manual for a 740 and have found one better than others? I have one for my '87, a Chilton, but need another for a '91 I just bought because the one I have doesn't cover through '91.

Glen, your best bet is to purchase from Volvo the Wiring diagrams for your
year and model. A copy of the Haynes 740 & 760 Repair manual from 82 thru 88.
The Chilton's Volvo repair manual from 90 to 93 is part # 8428.
ISBN 0-8019-8428-9. You can see if your local super auto store carries it or
order it through bookstore. Last of all order it through IPD.

Just do what I did and buy the factory manuals. They work for me every time.
