Hello all.

The success of the BrickBoard is great and has been very inspiring. I still enjoy doingthe occasional labor of maintaining the board.

As a distraction, the board has kept me from my main Volvo page; however. I would like to get back to it in a few steps.

First, I would love it if each person reading this message could send me a gif or jpeg photo of their car for the scarpbook. I have always wanted to add to this. Now I really want to do it bad. If you don't know the first thing about this stuff, just write to me. I can even hook mac users up with a free way to get scans of your photos. Please take the moment to do this. If all else fails, you could send me the actual print though this would require just a bit more work on my part. I would also love you more if you could write a little morsel about your car to include alongside your photo.

I guess I am asking you to do a little work as a very small favor to improve the overall content of my page. Of course I konw that most of you do this every day by simply engaging in the discussion threads here, but I only want a smudge more. (reminds me that I am planning to make a best-of page eventually. look for it.)

I will describe some other ideas in a later message.

Regards, -jarrod

Hi jarrod! Keep up the good work! I've a suggestion here regarding your request for pictures/text of our "Volvo-mobilies." To keep it uncomplicated for novices, all one need do is request from the processor, their film/pictures on disk in addition to prints. The slight extra cost is well worth it. Seattle Film Works (www.filmworks.com/retail.html) does a good job at the right price and refunds w/new film. Their basic program/software is free on the web. The upgrade is only $14.95. We're talking really basic stuff here. Save the pic to Jpeg file and attach it on out to you along with any appropriate text. it's a no brainer. Anyone on-line should be able to handle this one. I noticed there are no follow ups. I'd have thought you'd be swamped with responses from us proud "Volvo-mobile'rs." I'll send you a pic of my 262C complete w/350 Olds nestled snugly under the bonnet when weather permits. Yeah, right...! It's still raining.:( Regards/Jim Ells
