Hi-

My wife and I are seriously thinking about buying a Volvo wagon, but we don't know which is the best to buy.

Here are the things that we're looking for: - At least a couple yeards old. My wife doesn't want a new car. - Needs to last a while (I guess that a given with Volvos). How much mileage should we shoot for, though? Under 200K? under 100K? under 75k? - Can pull a small open trailer. We need to haul barkdust and garden multch. - Reliable with good maintenance/repair history. - Costs around $13K or less - Doesn't have the tan interior. My wife hates it.

So far, we've test driven an '89 740 Turbo. We liked it a lot. The dealer said that we want the turbo to pull a trailer. We liked the bells and whistles of this model - the heated seats and sunroof. It had 105k and I'm a little hesitant to buy a car with that many miles.

What do you think? Any tips or shared experience would be appreciated.
