740: Turn signal problems[ALL/1998] posted by Vincent Shek on

Hello,
I have a 1988 740 GLE and both the front turn signals are not working. The bulbs and fuses are okay but there are no power to the wire. The connectors seems fine and the wire conditions are okay too. The flasher is okay too as the rear turn signals work fine. What could be the cause of the problems?
TIA,
Vincent Shek vincent@algorithmics.com '89 740GLE

Vincent, Get a voltmeter and check for +12 after fuse at fuse box wire terminal. Then check at relay. Also check signal wire from Turn signal switch. Does Bulb Failure Light come on? (Does 740 have this item?).
Clean out the slot where blade fuse goes and check continuity, also check ground point for front lights, (maybe +12 is coming in but not out engo no joy!)
