Well, you and I may be the only ones around the Brickboard. There are just not many around. I have a 1992 960 SW (first year of model). I bought it used about a year ago and love it. It had only 24,000 miles on it, but had NO records. Even after a thou rough check, I spent about $600 putting and extended volvo warrant on it (3years, 36,000 miles), despite better judgement that says it's a waste of money I've had only one minor problem to date; a brake light relay went bad. I also canned the OE music syt em for a Alpine CD player. My major complaints are a small fuel tank and low mileage, even for a 6cyl.
In 95, I think, they made some major refinements to the car to really compete with the price range in which it resides. I'm not sure I would have paid that much for a new 960 in 92. Your note intimates that you have had some problems with yours. I'd li ke to know what they are, in anticipation of things to come. If you want to chat off the Board, I've included my email address.
