how do craig welcome to the grease eaters; first off but a haynes manual, or a Chiltons ,big book or little book ,Then go to home depot and say hello to thge nice man in the tool corral , Go home pit on some coffee ,dust offf your dictionary, open the hood ,stare, identify, figure out what goes where, the 72,75 were fairly straightforward, and trhey have lots of room, Now rtghat you ahve opened the hood . take off the air clefaner, and look at the black plastic thing sticking out from the intake manifold, there should be four wires coming from it , make sure they are all attached firmly to the throttle switch, and that all the wires coming off of it are in mostly one piece, check all the vacuum hoses when you find the injectors, make sure all the wires are attached tyhe thing that the injectors are attached to tha isn't the block is the fuel rail on the end nearest the firewal is a hose going to a valve on the intake manifold, this is the cold start valve . this valve operates depending on the temp, of the fluid iin the block, and one end comes from a sensor, on the same side as the intake manifold you are staring at, read, the section on cold start valve testing. while you have the hood up, start the motor and use carb cleaner to check fo leaks around the injectors, when you have done this and if ypou are still stumped call us back
