noisy brake calipers on 740's[ALL/1998] posted by BRAD BURNS on

Dear Jarrod: Don't let the dealer b.s. you about your rattling calipers. I have been through this many times with my 740/760 cars. There is an "oversized" slider pin kit available for your specific calipers. This stops them from sliding and making the noises you described when your foot is not on the pedal. If you have trouble locating these units contact me and I will get you the official part number or supplier. Hope this helps to quiet down your brick so you dont get embarassed every time you drive over a crack in the road. Brad Burns at bwburns@rogers.wave.ca
