No more of a problem than any of the K jet injected cars. Try richening up the fuel mixture. May just be injectors starting to get dirty. A couple doses of fuel additive (injector cleaner) can work wonders.

I tried injector cleaner previous to this posting and it did not help any. I was thinking perhaps the cold start injector or the aux air valve is clogged. I recently pulled the cold start injector and soaked it in a metal plate solution which I have used on a clogged piston injector that did work. I still have this problem!!! I'm still trying to find the aux air valve where could it be hidden? I really need to solve this problem soon. The increased rpm is not the best thing for my turbo.

This injection system has an idle motor but not an aux air regulator. It is located under the intake, i believe.
The cold start injector only sprays while the key is turned to the start position. It still sounds like it may be too lean. About 1/8 turn (to the right)on the CO adjustment screw should make a huge difference.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP MARK. By the way, where is the CO
adjustment screw on my BF21FTI? Is it on the fuel distributor.

Re: mixture screw
Yes, it is. Your symptom sounds more like a CIS motor that is either disconnected, or has a problem with the plug. It isn't uncommon for the CIS motor plug to lose the middle conductor and stop working. To fix it, pull the boot off the back of the connector and use a swiss army knife blade to push the wire back into place. That should help. -John. You don't think an idle motor would make it stall warm also?
Just curious.
