"CHECK ENGINE" Light[ALL/1998] posted by Tony Zee on

At 1530 miles, the "Check Engine" light just came on in my S70. After reading the manual, I checked the fuel cap and sure enough it was not on tight. (The manual suggests that if such is the case this might cause the emissions diagnostics to malfunction.)

Is there any way this light can be reset, or do I have to drive an hour to the dealer? Seems like a stupid design.

As always, any and all comments are greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
