I own three 75 164e's . A couple of months ago some posteds a message about, replacing heater fans, in 164's ,and the easy entry works like greasing a weasel. It took me about 45 minutes; as i still take out the front seats
if i'm going to try any under dash hanky-panky , but it went off without a
hitch.
Reply to the overwhelmed gentleman (? ) i read to day if you are being floded , please read, the paage where you signed up, and narrow the search, this will shorten your mail load. personally iget a kick with all great discussion @ cupholders and the like.

Paul: Sorry to hear about your situation(s). Is it the spelling, or the typing that seems to be the problem? Are you wearing your helmet on a regular basis these days? These are rough times, my friend.

Also, Stoney is still looking for a job - So.... you'll need to be patient with him and his comments, and think long and hard regarding any suggestions from him. However, he's right about the brand. You might even consider LeBatts Blue.
Stoney's stuck in New York, you know. This does strange things to sensitive souls.

Oh yes, one more thing. Chita reported in sick. Everybody wish Chita 16 tons of wellness.

PS: Do you need a dictionary? I have several extra copies just lying around.

Regards, JIM

Jim & paul,
Sorry guys-spent 12 hours in a room without windows, editing a demo tape for a client. That will turn anyones brain to Grolsch.....(belch) damn! Where'd that sucker come from???

I used to use empty Grolsch bottles as brake fluid containers when bleeding brakes, the little wire top makes it easy to hang it on the door so you can see when the bubbles stop....

Mea Culpa, Mea culpa, mea (urp) culpa.....

Regarding d-jet:

Bosch has a manual devoted to those old systems that is very helpful, also there have been extensive discussions on swedishbricks regarding this FI system. Check the s-bricks archives (though they are rarely added to). I think I have a link somewhere around here....

Also, have you tried the archives here.? The setup is a little off right now, but go into the Search / ... area and make it pritn only messages with 'jet' or 'd-jet' or something like that.

Regarding d-jet:

I'll give you a whole d-jet system (minus exhaust manifold) for $50.

Paul: You're doin' fine. Just a little jab at your expense between me and Stoney. Would never intentionally insult you. My apologies, if that's what it appeared to be. I've been living on the front of what seems like a runaway train since May '96 and these days, any little thing can amuse me.
