85' 760 Inside Door Trim Repair/Replacement?[ALL/1998] posted by Henry T. Mui. on

My 85' 760 sedan's front and rear driver's side inside door trim has
cracked and peeled. I'm guessing that it's from age and the exposure
of the sun's rays. Has anyone had this happened to their volvo and
what is the best course of action to correct this problem. 1.) Is there a repair kit or 2.) go out to the salvage yards and see if I can find a
color match for the 2 doors or even replacing the entire 4 door trim to
all match? I also noticed that that the front trim panel in front of the windshield of 200's and 700's tend to crack over time, is there any cure
to this problems? Should I place a sunvisor to decrease the amount of U.V.
from hitting the windshield? I've tried putting a replacement dash cap
made of plastic over my 240 from IPD but, over time it too cracked!
