Stu,
I just got an E-mail from Alpine U.S.A. Jennifer Masuda, states that it's possible to make the connections but if you do with the S-70 Volvo/Alpine radio cassette/ single CD unit to an Alpine 6 disk CD unit you are taking your chances because they both have different specifications and certain functions are not directly compatable with certain functions. By the way Kromer Radio in Toronto, Ont. Canada is very good with Volvo type installations because I've seen one of their jobs on a replacement of the Volvo factory radio system with a Sony system. Suggestion you get the Alpine interface connections and try it out. Let us know how it turns out!
