Blizzak tires on '90 740T wagon: Report[ALL/1998] posted by Steve on

I just got to test my new Bridgestone Blizzak tires in the snow for the first time. We've got about 2" on the streets (OK, everyone from Syracuse NY can laugh), with a mixture of powder, packed snow, and icy slush. The car tracked beautifully- no white knuckle lane changes and corners, unlike every experience I've had driving a RWD vehicle without snow tires. I could get it to slide a bit in fast corners and hard stops, but it was always minimal and very predictable. Overall, handling was very stable. My driving was about 30 miles on side streets, major city streets, and the Interstate, with mostly unplowed roads. When we get a REAL snow storm, I'll report again.
