1986 765T Aluminium Wheels[ALL/1998] posted by Chris Black on

I have a 1986 760 turbo wagon with standard 15" aluminium wheels. I have noticed that the wheels look a heck of a lot better without the standard large chrome cover that covers the hub and the wheel bolts. I would like the car to wear the wheels without the cover, but I am worried about the exposed hub. I am trying to locate a black plastic (or aluminium colored) piece that will cover the hole in the wheel and also protect the hub.

Standard 15" Aluminium wheel, Volvo part no. 1387158-7

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I use same wheels on 240. I painted hubs and centers flat black, got chrome round-head nuts and - they do look good! Don't worry about centers popping out, they don't.

Why are you worried about the hub? The hubcap doesn't seal it anyway.
