Hi there,
I have the following problem, the upholstery on the inside of the roof , seems to be loosening, that might not be that rare on an '82 car, but does someone know of a way of fixing this without re-upholstering?
Thanx, Evert.

Ev, This may sound whacky but it worked for a friend, honest!
Needed :
1 can spray fabric adhesive or headliner adhesive
6 Soda Straws
1-Exacto knife *SHARP*
If headliner is looen from backing you can get the adhesive under it by making a small cut in seam or if an edge is involved get between fabric and backing. Use soda srtaws to control spray area and/or get into small slits in fabric. Small bursts and try and spread the load around. Let dry, use rolling pin or firm rubber roller, like for wall paper, to secure fabric to backing evenly.
This is by no means a great repair, it's a "fix". Sooner or later the rest of it will succumb to gravity and droop/sag, just so you know.
