Hi Mark! I don't know specifics about the 12 volt upgrade to Amazon but there used to be a book, if I am not mistaken published by either Clymer or Motorbooks, that discussed how to convert a 6 volt car to a 12 volt (even positive ground cars like Mini's and early Citroens). You might try looking in Hemmings Motor News in some of the bookstore listings, and you might also try www.amazon.com (a large on line bookstore - catchy name, huh?) and have them look the topic up (a free service).
