If you need to remove any window decals or dealer sticker and the glue stays on the glass when you peel away the plastic, try using WD 40 on the residue. It seems to make the adhesive release fronm the glass and does not damage the rear window defogger matrix. I have seen a lot of people do damage to their windows by using razor blades and the like, so try WD 40. It also works great on Inspection Decals and Bumber sticker glue and doesn't seem to damage the clearcoat as long as you wide it off and clean surface with alcohol afterwards.
