'90 760 Turbo wagon engine stalling[ALL/1998] posted by Louise on

I bought my 760 Turbo wagon 18 months ago from an L.A. dealer. It had 100,000 miles on it and was well-maintained by its first owner, but I have had a string of problems with it.
First, it suddenly failed to start. I was out shopping with my family and it just didn't do a thing when tried to start it. Nothing but a click. It was towed to a local Volvo mechanic, who replaced some fuel relays. This seemed to fix it for a couple months, then it did it again.
This time I towed it to a dealer, who replaced the starter. That seemed to work more or less, but I've since had a couple instances where it wouldn't start. (Did nothing.) But then, after a 10 min. wait, it would.
Now, it is stalling at intersections. Never when the car is cold, not every day, but sometimes two or three times in the same day. And the "Check engine" light has been going on for a day or two. Then it goes off by itself. Of course, it is never on, the day I am free to take it to my mechanic. Any ideas?
