Bricksters!
I got an e-mail from Robert Berglund inviting us all to the annual Minnesota VSA (Volvo Sports of America) "Spring Thing #9". This year for the first time they have drummed up some dealer support for their gathering, it will be at Kline Volvo on Sat 17 May from 9am-2pm. It sounds like it's going to be a really good time. All of the details haven't been firmed up as of yet, but I will be sure to keep you all posted as info comes my way. I think it would be great show of support for their organ azation for us to have a strong presence at the show.
For those that may not know, VSA is the Volvo owner's club dedicated to the "classic" models (544, Amazon, 1800 etc). There should be some serious Iron on display......
Has anybody given any more thought VCOA chapter status? How many people have submitted their membership info? I think it would be fun to find a weekend day sometime in late April to get together again and talk about these topics. We can do it in the co ntext of brunch again, or junkyarding....whatever. If anyone has any activity or date suggestions, let me know. Also, if you know of anyone else who might be interested in joining, sign'em up!
All for now....I'm gonna go back out and work on my car....it's been a rough winter.
